When sports fans watch graphical overlays in games, increasingly they are likely watching those provided by Singular. Live, the leader in live HTML graphics. To continue expanding its partner ecosystem Singular.live has integrated with Magnifi by VideoVerse, an AI-driven video technology company and powerful video-editing SaaS.
This integration is perfectly suited as both partners already serve rights holders, including sports teams, franchises, and leagues. Singular.live gives these brands the ability to produce graphics for any live workflow, including SDI, NDI, and cloud productions for both traditional linear broadcast and digital productions. This type of dynamic presentation is essential to engage fans in an intensely competitive entertainment environment.
Magnifi has a similar mandate. The AI-powered video editor enables rights-holders to make better use of their existing content through highlight generation. Producers can more easily create highlights through meta-tags, auto-resizing, auto-personalisation, and distribution to more than 20 social channels from a single back-end.
Singular.live and Magnifi have integrated, enabling clients to pair Magnifi’s social media highlights with Singular’s dynamic graphics, making them instantly shareable across platforms. This collaboration brings Magnifi’s capabilities to Singular’s global roster of sports and entertainment clients.
“Our latest partner integration brings yet another tool for our clients to easily adopt and use. Magnifi enables rights-holders to not only create highlights but also instantly distribute them to where viewers are. From this perspective, Magnifi is an end-to-end solution that helps every rights-holder capture the growing viewing audience on social media,” said Steven Heimbold, Singular.live’s CEO.
As a new Singular technology partner, Magnifi is positioned to capture even more of the market for live sports. The product is capable of working across the value chain, including everything from archival footage to same-day recaps. Live sports, however, is the coveted arena for sports viewership due to the growth of mobile: More fans are looking for games on the go than ever before.
“Demand for live sports is increasing, but so are viewer expectations. Fans expect a polished presentation, complete with the best highlights when they sit down to watch a live game. With our integration with Singular.live, fans will get exactly that: They’ll have a best-in-class viewing experience, which will increase viewership, and in turn, value for our rights-holders,” said Meghna Krishna, Group CRO at Magnifi.
As leaders in their respective spaces, Singular.live and Magnifi will both be at IBC in Amsterdam from September 13 to 16. Rights-holders can book a meeting with Singular.live at IBC here, or learn more about Magnifi’s exhibit here.
